Manu Bhaker opts for higher education: Possible to balance sports and academics
Indeed, Manu Bhaker is India’s shooting sensation who seems to be continuing the impressive example that sets the youth of this nation on fire. Recently, she posted a photograph outside the examination hall with her exam material in her hand. Manu came through social media to announce that she would pursue higher education along with her commitment to sports.
In her post she captioned with saying, “Life is an education. I too did my post graduation. Then it is definitely not very hard to maintain the right balance between sports and academics today.”

Once again, Manu proved her inspiring approach at managing both education and shooting career. She belongs to an academically oriented family where her father is a chief engineer and mother is school principal. After completing her graduation in Political Science from Lady Shri Ram College at Delhi University, she will be doing her masters in Public Administration.

Manu Bhaker was also one of the brightest performers at Paris Olympics, making it to the podium on two instances with bronze medals. She brought India’s first medal in the Games in Women’s 10m Air Pistol and also bagged a bronze in Mixed Team 10m Air Pistol with Sarabjot Singh, thus making her the first Indian athlete to win two medals in one Olympic edition. Along with her coveted sportive laurels, Manu has also been creating ripples in the fashion circuit.
