Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 Box Office Collection: Day 1 Early Report

Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3, Kartik Aaryan’s much-awaited horror-comedy, released last Friday on the same day as the big-ticketed film of Ajay Devgn, Singham Again. Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 is helmed by Anees Bazmee, who, in itself, had good reviews mostly from the climax and overall performance of Kartik Aaryan. Much discourse happened even before its release about how the screens will split between these two.

Eventually, it was also decided that they would split screen space evenly, especially where there were single screens but multiplex chains like PVR and INOX kept the division 60/40 in favor of the latter Singham Again.

Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3, which has lesser screens and a budget than Singham Again, has sold over 200,000 advance tickets. According to industry tracker Sacnilk, by 3 PM today it has earned ₹9.14 crore.

Contrary to that, Singham Again reportedly has banked about ₹16.27 crore through early assessments. It stars a powerhouse cast of Ajay Devgn, Kareena Kapoor, Deepika Padukone, Ranveer Singh, Akshay Kumar, Tiger Shroff, Jackie Shroff, and Arjun Kapoor; it reportedly had a budget of about ₹375 crore. Trade circles say Singham Again could open around ₹35 crore, while Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 could go all the way to ₹23-25 crore on the opening day. Of course, these are some decent numbers, but much more could have been banked had the films released on a regular date, even without a holiday. Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 is the sequel to the superhit of 2007, Bhool Bhulaiyaa, also starring Akshay Kumar and Vidya Balan and Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 in the year 2022, also including Kartik Aaryan, Kiara Advani, and Tabu in the cast.
