Avneet Kaur Meets Tom Cruise on the Set of Mission: Impossible – The Final Reckoning
Actress Avneet Kaur had the chance to meet Hollywood superstar Tom Cruise on the set of Mission: Impossible – The Final Reckoning recently, sharing her excitement with fans in a social media post on Monday.
In her post, Avneet expressed her awe, writing, “I’m still pinching myself! I had the incredible opportunity to visit the set of the next Mission: Impossible film, starring the one and only Tom Cruise.” She went on to praise Cruise’s dedication to his craft, noting, “Witnessing the filmmaking magic firsthand was awe-inspiring. Tom’s commitment to performing real, practical stunts continues to raise the bar.”
While Avneet hasn’t confirmed if she’s part of the cast for the upcoming film, she teased that more details would be revealed closer to its release on May 23, 2025.
The post featured several pictures and a video from her visit. In one photo, Avneet and Cruise posed together, with Cruise wearing a casual blue t-shirt and black track pants, while Avneet opted for a stylish white-and-black outfit. Another picture showed the two in deep conversation, and the video captured them shaking hands.
On the professional front, Avneet was last seen in the comedy-drama Luv Ki Arrange Marriage alongside Sunny Singh. The 23-year-old actress also has Love in Vietnam in the pipeline, a romantic drama directed by Rahhat Shah Kazmi. The film, which also stars Shantanu Maheshwari and Vietnamese actress Kha Ngan, marks the first-ever feature collaboration between India and Vietnam.
If Avneet does appear in Mission: Impossible – The Final Reckoning, she would be the second Indian actor to join the franchise, following Anil Kapoor’s appearance in Ghost Protocol (2011).
Several of Avneet’s peers, including actors Varun Dhawan, Shantanu Maheshwari, and Nitanshi Goel, reacted to her post, with Varun simply commenting, “Wow,” and Nitanshi expressing how proud she was of Avneet.
In her Instagram Stories, Avneet shared her gratitude towards Tom Cruise, thanking him for his warmth and humility. She wrote, “Thank you so much for being you and making me feel so welcome, and for reminding me to always learn and grow. I was in awe watching you perform those incredibly difficult stunts all by yourself. You create magic in cinema and in real life.”
She continued, “I’m just so much in awe of you, Tom. I’ve never met someone so humble and down-to-earth. I feel blessed to have gotten the chance to get to know you. Your dedication and hard work are unreal, and your story continues to inspire so many young actors like me. Thank you for showing me what it means to truly believe in your passion and never give up. You continue to create history every day.”
Mission: Impossible – The Final Reckoning is set for release on May 23, 2025. In the film, Tom Cruise will reprise his iconic role as Ethan Hunt, continuing his mission to track down The Entity, a powerful force hidden in a Russian submarine, while also confronting an old enemy, Gabriel (played by Esai Morales).
